As a non-profit 501(c)(3), we are able to better staff our classrooms with extra teachers and ensure a quality work environment.  We demonstrate our commitment to our teachers with a staff lounge equipped with computers, couches, and television.  Teachers also enjoy such perks as holiday bonuses, a holiday party, lunches and other appreciation events.  Plus, in addition to working in a great environment, you become a meaningful part of the lives of many wonderful children and their families.  We believe that having happy teachers is a critical part to having a successful school.

Job Title: Childcare Teacher

Job Description: Responsible for social, emotional, mental, and connected physical growth and development of targeted groups and individuals. Studying health and behavioral records to understand behavioral, physical, and special care needs for toddlers and preschool children.

Preparing submissions for the approval of the administration and communicating with health care teams and therapists for concerned children. Observing newcomers individually for the first month and as required for behavioral placement. Communicating with administrators for the requirements of extended counseling, training (including teachers) and consultations. Setting measurable goals and analyzing progress. Attending open house and admission interviews as a team or individually as required.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field. 12 months experience in the job offered or teacher. Knowledge of or experience in adequately modifying and customizing the learning activities and play experiences to accommodate abilities of the children with higher level of skills and special needs. Knowledge of or experience in maintaining regular and open communication with therapists and the families of the children by providing necessary updates. Knowledge of or experience in helping with smooth transition between activities, groups, and routines to minimize stress and anxiety among the children. Verifiable references.
