As MCPS has announced a two and half hour early closure and the Federal Government has announced a 2 hour “early depature” due to the predicted inclement weather, RSCC will close by 4pm today, Tuesday, 1/29/19. However, with the temperatures projected to fall as we get later into the day and travel conditions a bit unpredictable, WE REQUEST THAT ANY FAMILIES WHO ARE ABLE TO DO SO TO PICK UP THEIR CHILDREN AT 3PM OR EARLIER. This will allow parents to be off of the roads during the heaviest projected precipitation and allow us to start sending teachers home before 4.

Please be aware that events such as these can sometimes severely impact traffic, so please leave yourself plenty of time to get to the School by 4pm. Late fee policies will apply starting promptly at 4. Travel safely!
