RSCC offers a full-day, year-round program for children ages six weeks to five years old, NAEYC accredited and rated Level 5 in Maryland EXCELS.

Our play-based educational philosophy incorporates a formal curriculum with thematic units to ensure our children are having fun while developing the physical, social, emotional and practical skills they will need for kindergarten success.

Our play-based school features:

Bright and stimulating classrooms
Six outdoor playground areas with jungle gyms, bikes, sandboxes and open space where kids can play with a variety of play equipment
Two spacious indoor play areas
Weekly music and movement classes
Optional extracurriculars (such as ballet and soccer)
Breakfast and snack daily, plus formula and cereal for infants, all included in tuition
Open Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Extended care available to 6:45 p.m.

Rock Spring Children’s Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit child care center and preschool. For more than 30 years, our mission has been to provide quality, loving, affordable child care and preschool education to local families. We are governed by a volunteer board of parents and community members, NAEYC accredited, and rated Level 5 in Maryland EXCELS. Because we are a nonprofit, tuition is set to cover the cost of care, and every dollar goes back into our classrooms, our teachers, and our programs. EIN 52-1854414.
