Location and Hours

Rock Spring Children’s Center is located at 10401 Fernwood Road, Suite 150 in Bethesda, MD. We are situated at the back side of the Atrium at Rock Spring Park office complex between Route I-270 and Montgomery Mall.  The School is open from 7 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Extended Care is available daily until 6:45pm for an additional fee if prior arrangements are made.

Staff

The staff is approved by the Maryland State Department of Education, Office of Child Care. All staff members come to the Center with excellent references, and a background check is processed for each teacher. Teachers receive annual training in curriculum and child development as well as CPR and First Aid.  Many of our teachers have been with us for 5, 10 or even 20 years.  Our teachers have a great reputation as caring, engaged caregivers and educators.  They are the main reason that the Center has such a strong reputation.

Administration

Rock Spring is licensed by the State of Maryland Department of Education under the authority of the Office of Child Care.  The School is overseen by our School President/CEO and a Board of Directors consisting of current and former parents, staff, and members of the community.  The daily operations of the School are managed by the Executive Director, Program Director and Operations Director. 

Handbook

The policies of the School will be provided to families of the School in the form of a parent handbook.  The handbook and the policies therein may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of RSCC.  Parents will be provided a copy of the handbook each year.  Revised versions will be available online at www.RockSpringChildrensCenter.com.  The online version will be the most up to date version of the handbook.  Parents are responsible for reading the handbook and reviewing the online version if they have any questions about RSCC policies.
