The Application Process
After you get on the waitlist and receive your tour or visit the Center at an open house, you may wonder what to do next. The process is really simple and requires only a small amount of your time.
First and foremost, STAY IN TOUCH! We like to know that you are still interested in a spot, have not found other care or, if you are pregnant, all of your new baby’s information. Every time you contact us, it is written on your entry on our waitlist. Most people worry that they are going to be bothering us if they are constantly e-mailing or calling. You’re not! We enjoying getting to know prospective families and being able to determine which candidates are really interested.
We can only give you an estimate as to when we are expecting openings. We will notify you as soon as possible if we can formally offer you an opening. Unfortunately, predicting enrollment opportunities can be a tricky, with variables such as children moving and current families expanding. Spots can become open sooner or later than we may anticipate. We recommend that parents get on many waitlists so that you have the best possible chance to have care for your child when you need it.
If a spot becomes available for your child, we will contact you and inquire if you are interested and we will give you a start date. To secure your spot, you will need to pay a non-refundable deposit equal to one month's tuition. You will also receive a packet of information including an application, registration forms, medical record request forms, and other documents needed for your child’s folder. The spot is yours once you pay your deposit, but you must also return your completed forms and pay any other fees in a timely manner as directed by the Center prior to your first day.
Once you have paid your deposit, please feel free to contact us and schedule a time to bring your child to visit the Center in the week or two prior to your start date so that you and your child begin to get acclimated to the new surroundings.
